Best brunch place in 100 miles! Can't beat these mimosas, and the food is impossibly consistent, mix that with the vibrant staff (who have all been here a long time so you know it's ran well) and I can't imagine a better place to spend my weekend mornings. The entire staff has always taken great care of me and my company whenever we come here. The outside seating is very comfortable, the bar is probably my favorite spot to enjoy the atmosphere of this great gem tucked away in East Peoria.

Went to eggcellent cafe today for the first time, and have to give them a huge shout out for having zero sugar Pepsi! Thank you! I had the eggs Benedict classic, with greens on the side. It was really good and highly recommended it. I also had some scrambled eggs, they was a little dry but they still was pretty decent. The fruit however was kinda blah, very soft and just don't recommend it. The atmosphere was just your average breakfast restaurant vibe nothing that made it feel special. The price for the food I got was very good only spent I think 28 bucks. I didn't catch my waitress name but she was very friendly, quick to fill up drinks and just be very observant so hats off to her. I would recommend this place to everyone and I'll definitely be coming back!

We had to visit for the first time and it was fantastic! My friend and I both tried different skillets...they were great. We both order a cinnamon roll pancake to take home for later. It was fantastic also. Great coffee—have to mention that. Great service also! Leah waited on us—she is very friendly, fun to talk to, and was excellent. Clean as can be...great atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.

We had such a wonderful experience at Eggcellent café! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting—perfect for starting the day on a positive note. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they care about quality and detail in every dish. What made the visit even more memorable was our server, Leah. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Leah went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right, checking in at the perfect times without ever feeling intrusive. Her positive energy truly elevated the entire experience. Great food, cozy vibes, and outstanding service from Leah. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to others!

Get the Hash & Mash, it’s delicious! The eggs were cooked perfectly, the potatoes were deliciously seasoned and the corned beef hash was moist and paired nicely with the rest. We were served by Nicole and she was absolutely the best, super welcoming, friendly, fast waitress. It was my first time at this café and the experience made me say:” I totally have to come back”.
